EnGenius EnTurbo Outdoor AP/Bridges are powered via 24V proprietary PoE and are not directly compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE injectors or switches. However, a standard IEEE 802.3af/at PoE injector or switch can be used to power an AP if an EnGenius EPD4824 PoE converter is placed in-line between the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE injector / switch and the AP. The EPD4824 takes IEEE 802.3af/at PoE input at 48V and converts it to 24 V PoE output for the access point.
